RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving injection molding machines and related production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations
• Supports production by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment failures, and minimizing downtime
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molding machines
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Maintain molds, tooling, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and auxiliary equipment
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Complete machine changeovers and assist with mold installations
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Experience working with plastic injection molding equipment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, motors, sensors, and PLC troubleshooting
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred Skills Experience with Engel, Husky, Nissei, or similar injection molding machines
• PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge
• Preventive Maintenance (PM) experience
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Work Schedule Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed
• Must be available to respond to equipment breakdowns and production needs
